Little Boy Blue Where Are You?

On the 4th of July we decided to take Maggie to the lake with us...We know she gets super scared of the fireworks, and were confident she would attempt to make an escape. However, Stiffler and Blue are usually pretty good about that sort of stuff. And, considering that there was a burn ban in our county and all surrounding, we did not figure there would be an issue!

So, off the the lake we went...leaving Stiffler and Blue in the backyard.

However, when we got home at midnight, our neighbor was in the driveway with Stiffler, and Blue was no where to be found.

Come to find out, they DID get scared of fireworks being popped a couple of streets over and got out...However, a neighbor two blocks away had Blue until about 11. Yet, Animal Control would not give them our address or phone number, so he eventually let him go...

We looked until the wee hours of the morning, but did not find him.

We looked all day on Sunday, but heard nothing.

And today, we checked the shelter for the third time, and still nothing.

Little boy Blue, where are you?

We have confidence that he had made some friends somewhere because he is entirely too lovable, but our hearts are broken...especially the kiddos. Blue is their dog.

So, Blue, we are looking for you!
