Welcoming 2009

We had the best of intentions to spend New Years eve with some of the family at the lake; however, because I spent the evening WORKING we never quite made it there! Instead, we stayed home, enjoyed our immediate family and then ushered in the New Year long after the kiddos had fallen asleep with our neighbors and dearest friends! Perhaps it was not the grand plans we had made, but midnight in your front yard with 6 other incredible couples was pretty awesome!

Yet, we were not about to miss the lake all of New Years! So, we headed that direction bright and early New Years day! It was fun to eat, chill and just enjoy each other's company!
We did simple things like feed the ducks...And let the kids play together! It was a prefect way to welcome 2009!
