To say it has been a rough week in our house would be an understatement. We have literally been down and out all week! It truly seemed that if it was not one thing it was another.
It was a crazy week at school for the two of us. Things would seem very ordinary at points throughout our days, but at the most unexpected point they would then take a turn for the weird, "you have got to be kidding me," and the "did this just happen to be?" Never "bad"...just crazy!
Our kids were also off kilter it seemed. In fact, they were so off kilter that we received a phone call on Thursday to come pick G up from school because he was "running around the building out of control." (Then, when we got there we learned it was a substitute/teacher issue that really had nothing to do with G, and the the rest of the day/week was perfect once the teacher issue was addressed.)
Did I mention Thursday was also a full moon?
However, to top off this wild week ALL of us (and the roomie) had "the flu." I quote "the flu" for two reasons - 1, we all had flu shots, and 2, the doctor could not really pin down what was wrong with any of us. He just said, "I can tell you feel real bad!" (Thanks, doc. You are AMAZING!) So, I am not confident that it was REALLY "the flu!" Yet, we all felt horrible...and feeling horrible on top of crazy weird...well, it just makes for the cruddiest of weeks.
However, even in the midst of the wildest of weeks, there were moments of brightness and smiles! And, I have pictures to document this! Yet, there are no pics today...My dear friend spilled coffee on my computer during our administrator's meeting this morning and blew my USB ports. :)
