Atypical Saturday?

I have often said that I need a weekend from my weekend. Every weekend is centered around the kids, scheduled to the minute and a literal whirlwind of events and appointments! You know, I have truly come to cherish the VERY rare weekends when I can stay at home to do laundry, change sheets and clean closets...now, I HATE doing those things, so...

This Saturday was not atypically busy, but because we did some things we do not normally do, and that does make things atypical.

We had the normal soccer games, errands, and birthday parties...And, it was STILL WINDY, so we felt the need to bundle up!G still acted a fool during the soccer games because he is not able to play...But, soccer is always different when Gigi and K-Dan get to visit!And, then we were off to the school carnival...The one of the HIGHLIGHTS of Cannon and Gunnar's academic year!Ballerina and G have a really good time there too! They really like the joy jumps and the ring toss too! But the SUPER big highlight of the day...making the day super atypical for us...watching Uncle Kason for the special Aggie Band performance!And, getting to see cousin Avery too!

While it was typical Saturday craziness with some atypical events, like usual, the best part of the day was the time with family.
